No hot water, sweating, or exfoliants for 5–7 days
Strict sun protection: minimum SPF 30 (we recommend using one of our medical–grade SPFs)
What to Know before Laser Treatments
- Avoid sun exposure for 2–4 weeks before and after treatment
- No waxing, threading, or peels 7 days pre-treatment
- Accutane users must wait 6 months post-treatment
- Let your provider know if you are prone to cold sores — a preventative antiviral may be prescribed
